Square Enix, the video game developer, announced Kingdom Hearts 4 with a striking trailer for the next episode of the video game franchise Kingdom Hearts IV that featured various acquainted faces. The trailer was for Android and iOS that shows the returns of Sora and his battle against big enemies around Quadratum, which is a significant and expansive city set in a world unique in the franchise. The clip also shows some iconic characters, Goofy and Donald, besides the first appearance of mysterious Sterliyzia.

Square Enix stated in a press release that Sora makes a victorious return with an upgraded look at the starting of an epic new storyline with the title ” Lost Master Arc. ” Fans will get excited when they see the return of Donald and Goofy, some of the well-known companions of Sora besides the first appearance of Strelitzia. In this strange new setting, Strelitzia is a mysterious new character making an appearance before Sora.

The last release of the main series was Kingdom Heart III in 2019, after more than a decade of spending in development. Working on the game started in 2015, but no announcement was made till 2013. When it was released, it was accepted well, with many people calling it the strongest in the whole franchise. Kingdom Hearts II was also notable as it concluded the ” Dark Seeker Saga ” that covered The battle of Sora against the seeker of darkness, Xehanort, and his several incarnations.

Kingdoms Hearts IV will start a new chapter in Sora’s journey, ensuing its precursor’s cliffhanger ending. This game will follow up on several Kingdom Hearts X and Kingdom Hearts III events.

The franchise of Square Enix made its appearance in the year 2022 with Kingdom Hearts, a collaborative effort of Square Enix and The Walt Disney Company. It introduced the adorable character of Disney and the heroes of the Final Fantasy series altogether in the story that revolves around Sora, who is a teenage hero from Destiny Islands. Even if there are only three released installments in the primary series, there has been a vast range of Kingdom Hearts Games in the last 20 years. Along with mobile games and other portable releases, the franchise of Kingdom Hearts boasts 17 titles altogether.

Square Enix has not made any announcements about the release date of Kingdom Hearts IV or on which platform it will get released.

Google has always been known for making the job of gathering correct information easier for users. It has been using advanced technologies for benefitting people using the world wide web for a long time. This time, the search engine giant has shared how it is using artificial intelligence for updating business hours on Google Maps. 

In a recent post published on the company’s official blog, Google informed the audience that if it’s confident that the predictions made by artificial intelligence regarding the business hours of a company or service provider are correct, it will go ahead and update the info in Maps. 

Google has outlined several factors analyzed by its AI for finding out whether it would be the right decision to make these updates. It begins by checking when the profile of the given company/service provider was last updated, Popular Times data, and business hours of similar shops to determine whether it’s possible that the current hours mentioned on Maps are incorrect.  

Let’s explain with an example. If the search engine biggie finds out that many visitors are arriving at a particular shop when it’s apparently closed, it might take the decision of updating the hours based on that finding. 

In the post, Google made it clear that artificial intelligence needs more data for determining whether the hours of a business need to be changed. AI checks the official website of the business for information regarding its opening hours. What’s more, it can even track street view images (to see whether they show any signs featuring business hours of the shop) for figuring out the exact opening hours of the business. 

Google will also check with humans to get the info provided by AI confirmed. According to the search engine company, it will contact the business owners and Google Maps users to verify the predictions made by AI. The company stated that in certain countries, it might use Duplex for enquiring businesses about their respective opening hours directly. 

According to Google spokeswoman Genevieve Park, the search engine biggie never publishes business hours if it is not confident enough that the information available is accurate. Whenever AI feels that the business hours might be wrong but lacks a strong prediction, Google notifies the users by saying, “The hours might have changed.” 

Google refrains from explicitly telling the users when its AI has last updated the hours. However, it uses AI for almost everything on Google Maps. Right now, the company is planning to use AI to update the opening hours of more than twenty million businesses located in different parts of the world over the coming six months. 

A new update was released and is now live in Metroid Dread on Nintendo switch, making it game version 2.1.0. This is quite exciting for the game fans as three different modes have been added. They are Boss Rush, Dread Rush, and Survival Rush. These three modes are different variations on a similar theme, thereby facilitating players for taking on games varied bosses but in specific situations. Furthermore, those searching for something new for doing in the game add an extra layer of challenges.

Three varied boss rush modes have been added to the game. It would help if you pressed the R button on the ” Samus Files” screen for moving to the Boss Rush selection screen.

Boss Rush

• A mode where the players can fight 12 consistent boss battles and then makes an aim for the best time
• If any destruction occurs, it is carried into the next fight. All weapons are restored in between the battles.
• If Samus got defeated, players could select “Retry “to continue playing from the beginning of the battle they had lost. There might be some time penalty for being defeated.
• Bosses who fought in Boss Rush can fight one on one anytime by choosing the ” practice” option.

Survival Rush

• It’s a mode that makes players know about the number of players that can defeat in a five-minute time limit.
• All damages and weapons are carried over to the next battle game. Even if the player has not crossed the time limit and Samus is defeated, the game is over.
• Beating a boss adds a fixed amount of time to the countdown clock. So if you want some big-time bonus, you can defeat a boss without obtaining any damage.
• Unlock survival rush by completing Dread Rush or Boss rush.

Dread Rush

• All basic rules to follow here are the same as in Boss Rush, but when Samus hits Samus, the energy level drops to zero, and she gets defeated.
• Bosses fighting in a Dread rush can fight one on one by choosing “Practice”.
• Unlock by defraying the main game utilizing Dread mode.

All these three new modes are available for free. Although it’s not clear if developer Mercury System is planning to add something new to the game, it seems possible because of the high sales of Metroid Dread since it was launched last year. As of now, you have to wait and see.

Remedy Entertainment announced that it would remake Max Payne and Max Payne 2: The Fall of Max Payne with a project that has been set to be on the scale of a “typical remedy AAA game production” for PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC.

At present, the remakes are in a stage of concept development, according to Remedy, it will develop games as one title, while Rockstar Games will finance the budget of the game development.

The announcement stated that the remakes would be driven by the Northlight Game Engine, the one which was used in censoriously applauded control and the forthcoming Alan Wake 2.

Microsoft notetaking application crafted for styluses and pens has been recently elevated into a full-fledged product. Previously it was a Garage project journal, which is now known as a Microsoft journal. On Tuesday, Microsoft made the announcement.

This application provides you with magnificent freeform personal notetaking practices that allow you to take notes and then reason using ink. So it was said by Microsoft’s Renee Malone in a specific blog pose. Like all other notetaking applications, this app allows you to write and then draw. It also supports several gestures, such as scratching out words for erasing them and circling the words and phrases to choose them. You can also use the markup PDFs, which is one of the renowned things to carry out as per Malone. A lot of page types in the journal are PDFs.

The garage is one of the Microsoft brands for more of its products under experiments. In a press release published yesterday, Apple has finally announced the dates of its much-awaited Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC). The 2022 edition of the event will be held online and run from June 6 to June 10. As expected, developers around the globe are invited to join the conference absolutely free of cost.

The pandemic is the main reason why Apple decided to transform the WWDC into an online event. Before that, it used to be held in person at the McEnery Convention Center in San Jose. Many expected the event to get back to its normal shape this year as Apple has already started to ask its employees to return to the office from April. However, the tech biggie decided otherwise.

The Cupertino, California-based tech firm seems to have gained confidence from the success of the virtual events of 2020 and 2021. So, it’s all set to make the most of the online event by showcasing the company’s latest innovations pertaining to iPadOS, macOS, iOS, tvOS, and watchOS. The third-party developers, on the other hand, will be given access to Apple technologies and engineers to learn a thing or two about creating interactive experiences and revolutionary apps. 

It shouldn’t surprise many that Apple has decided to make the WWDC 2022 an online-only event. None of the major tech events and conferences have returned to their actual formats due to the ongoing pandemic. While some are being held as online-only events, others have got a hybrid format.

Other than organizing the WWDC, this year Apple will also host the third edition of the Swift Student Challenge. Students are invited to develop an app on a given topic using Swift Playground. The participants will have to submit their creations by April 25.
